This Monday, November 11, in his Con Maduro+ program, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported that trade with Russia has increased 453% this year.

“We have made progress in the proposals, in the ideas for a new model and we have fixed on the plans of the companies; and there has been growth with Russia and as a result of the Russia-Venezuela Joint Commission, tremendous prospects are opening up,” he said.

In that vein, he stated that despite the blockade, or the so-called sanctions, that some capitalist nations have given to Russia, “they have been able to move forward”.

He noted that this type of growth in relationships makes it clear that “we are on the right path.”
