During the closing of the World Anti-Fascist Parliamentary Forum, which was held in Caracas, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated this Tuesday the emergence of a new world order that breaks with the hegemony of imperialism, through the BRICS.

“For the first time in 100 years, we could extend the deadline to 200, a coalition of economic powers emerges that today united are the great economic power of humanity, led by China, Russia, India, our sister Brazil and South Africa, their founding members,” said the head of state in his speech.

He stressed that now the BRICS, “in addition to all their economic, technological, industrial and scientific power, are space powers, they are military powers, they are great territorial and population powers, they are strong, consolidated States, they are their own models, relevant to the idiosyncrasy, to the identity of countries.”

In this regard, Maduro warned that if the oligarchies of the West; “whose genes bear the memory of the colonialism that was imposed on America, Africa, India in the 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th centuries; they reacted 100 years ago in that way, today I think that wrongly, from a human and historical point of view, they are reacting and preparing in the same way, but this century is very different,” he emphasized.

He indicated that fascism is deeply rooted in the political culture of the West, of Western capitalism and of imperialism, “but we have to say from Caracas with our voice of fighters, of warriors, with a voice of hope and light, if this was the case in the 20th century, the 21st century will be different and this 21st century will follow its course and no one can take away its characteristic of being the century of the rise of a different world”.
