The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, received from the hands of the Minister of Popular Power for the Communes, Jorge Arreaza, the Francisco Morazán Order Award, which was awarded to him last weekend by the Government of Honduras.

“I thank fellow president Xiomara Castro de Zelaya. To the people of Honduras my thanks and my love. Francisco Morazán, arrives as reinforcement for the 2024 battle and at a good time. He was the Great Liberator of Central America and left behind a unionist project, like that of Bolívar, surely the hearts were sculpted with the same force (...) that of Morazán and Simón Bolívar”.

“This is the most important order given to a foreign servant to a citizen who is not a native of that country. The recognition was sent to him in front of a crowd, celebrating the two years of Government of Xiomara Castro de Zelaya. When they said their name, the people of Honduras came to applause,” he said.

The distinction was received by the delegation that represented the Bolivarian Government, also made up of the deputy of the National Assembly, Tania Díaz.
