Head of State: This People, who are rebellious, stood up to them and reacted positively

President Nicolás Maduro Moros praised the impetus of the Chavista people on Monday, after the reaction to the violent actions promoted by the right wing on July 29 and 30.

“This people, who are rebellious, stood up to them and reacted positively and quickly (...), already on Tuesday, July 30, our people were in the streets; I can tell you that that day they intended to carry out a violent assault in Miraflores,” he said during the Meeting of the National Leadership of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar (GPPSB).

He also stressed that “with the arrival of more than 20,000 patriots from different areas of Caracas, starting at 4 in the afternoon of that Tuesday, July 30, the thrust in Miraflores was prevented,” he said, adding that details will be released soon.

“Nobody expected that revolutionary patriots would arrive”, against the direct orders of María Corina Machado and the fugitive Edmundo González Urrutia to promote violence.

President Maduro recalled “when the revolutionary people were marching in 20 cities for 15 continuous days”, the media and networks silenced him.
