“This is always a victorious Navy,” said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, in a historical review of the construction of the Bolivarian National Navy, regarding the departure of the Simon Bolivar Training Ship to the XXXV Caribbean Alliance 2025 Training Cruise.
The Head of State emphasized the decisive role in the liberation of Venezuela in the Battle of the Navy Lake, which was the demonstration of the perfect popular-military fusion, the fishermen served as arrows to attack large Spanish vessels and there appeared fishermen and officers forged by El Libertador”.
In this regard, he stressed that, over time, “we have reconstructed Bolivarian doctrine, our refounded Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) and the foundations of a powerful Bolivarian Navy.”
“It is in your hands to continue building it so that our country continues to be respected, those seas are ours, the Essequibo is ours and the Navy must be prepared to defend the seas, our sovereignty,” the first National President told the crew.
