The re-elected President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that the Venezuelan people with their response to the Presidential Election “said no to wild capitalism and no to fascism.”
“We are setting an example to the world, we are a people of warriors,” he said.
He argued that "Venezuela is standing, ready to continue its glorious destiny in the great 21st century”.
He added that this is a triumph of hope, “it is a triumph of truth and of the path pointed out by our Commander Hugo Chávez.”
He said this at the People's Balcony, where the People accompanied him to celebrate the electoral results by the National Electoral Council (CNE), which offered him re-election to the Presidency of the Republic.
When referring to Argentine President Javier Milei, he described him as a fascist. “From Caracas, Venezuela I say no to Milei, not to Milei's Nazi-Fascist,” he emphasized.
