Head of State: The People took to the streets to demonstrate who rules in Venezuela (+23E)

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,
Nicolás Maduro, led this Tuesday the Great March of January 23 “so that the People may
never be betrayed again”, commemorating the 66th anniversary of the
overthrow of the Marcos Pérez Jiménez dictatorship, in rejection of the coup, terrorism, violence and in favor of
peace.
Since the massive popular demonstration in Caracas, the
head of state stressed that “the people took to the streets to demonstrate who
is in charge in Venezuela”, raising the flags of the generation that
fought on January 23, 1958 and was betrayed by the right with the Punto Fijo Pact.
“It's the flag that (Commander Hugo) Chávez raised and that
we have consolidated, it's the flag of history. We are
living history, towards the future, towards new stories,” emphasized the Venezuelan dignitary.
