President Nicolás Maduro assured that the North American empire will always seek to erase memory, history, to erase conscience and that the stellar moments that all peoples have.
During his podcast “With Maduro+”, he insisted that peoples who can rescue their stellar moments and spin them together, “can do the strength to consider building their future”.
The Head of State said that once in Boston, at a meeting sent by Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez, “they were with some senators, gringo representatives and they said that they were proud of their history.”
“We also told him, we liberated America, I told him, they were surprised, and I told them Miranda came here to fight the Pensacola battle and defeated the imperialist troops to help you. We are proud of our history as well,” said Maduro.
He also said that he asked them why don't you let people be proud of their history? , “they had no answer”.
In that sense, Maduro asked to build, rebuild, recreate, our history, our memory, “memory must be alive, that slogan of forbidding to forget, that has to be present and more than forbidden to forget.”
