Head of State: The Government is determined not to use agrochemicals that affect the health of the people

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that the Bolivarian Government is making great efforts to realize the agroecological revolution, which is the 6th Transformation, whose central objective is to stop using “completely, sooner rather than later the pesticides and agrochemicals that are making humanity sick.”

“Also prohibit the use of transgenic seeds, of chemicals that destroy the earth. We are in a position to do so because there are already regenerative, agroecological agriculture techniques to produce organic food,” he highlighted in the outdoor spaces of the Miraflores Palace where he received the Long March in Commemoration of the 33rd Anniversary of the Popular Civic Military Rebellion of February 4, 1992.

In this regard, the head of state maintained that one of the plans for this year 2025 and the years to come is to consume healthy food, which is harvested in the country and does not contain chemicals that harm the people's health.
