Head of State: The division of peoples only leads to colonialism

The President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro, at the 25th Meeting of the Political Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA - TCP), assured that the division of peoples only leads to colonialism.

In that sense, he added that the “division of our people we already know what it leads to, to colonialism, division leads to slavery (...) we already know where the historical imperial method leads us”.

The head of state specified that freedom has no alternative, being slaves, again, is not an alternative for our people, being a colony or neocolonies is not an alternative for our people; the only alternative and option that our people have is to continue to struggle and build with their own efforts their freedom, their independence, their sovereignty based on principles; based on values and based on iron struggles such as those given by the peoples of the global dur.
