Head of State: The country's 4,500 communal circuits are called for elections on August 25

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed that next Sunday, August 25, the country's 4,500 communal circuits are convened to choose their new project in a process of participation and communal democracy.

“I made that commitment and it will be fulfilled 100 (percent),” he said, referring to the 4,500 community projects in the 2024 National Popular Consultation process, held last April.

In this regard, he stated that 500 projects have already been completed and reported that if resources are lacking, they will be given to complete the work, during the live broadcast of his TikTok Live program, together with the Executive Vice President of the Republic and godmother of the state Lara, Delcy Rodríguez and the Minister of Popular Power for the Communes, Ángel Prado.

“The one who has his second project is going with that, but I have already called general elections for August 25, so that the 4,500 communal circuits choose their new project in a process of participation and community democracy,” he reiterated.

On the other hand, he assured that he will deepen the 1x10 System of Good Governance, “it is a beautiful creation”.

“What would become of us if the 1x10 of Good Governance did not exist? How many war wounds weren't there? How many unmet needs,” he said.
