The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Monday, January 1st, stressed that the clarification of the case of the Venezuelan rapper Tirone José González Orama, known as “Canserbero”, was a scientific and professional work of reconstructing the events, carried out successfully by the Attorney General's Office.
He stressed that the investigation led “to a strong, definitive conclusion, of who are the intellectual and material responsible for the murder of this young artist, of this Venezuelan creator who in such a short time of his musical career as a composer had such a great impact on youth.”
This was stated by the head of state, in the spaces of the Birthplace of the Liberator Simón Bolívar, in Caracas, in an interview with the journalist and intellectual Ignacio Ramonet, he offered an assessment of 2023 and the challenges of the new year 2024.
He commented that at the time he presented the case to the Attorney General of the Republic, T arek Willam Saab, who brought together “a set of elements that formed a solid hypothesis about what had happened.”
“All the media and networks had tarnished the name of Canserbero, they had said that he was a murderer (...) Even the former Public Ministry went so far as to accuse him after his death as a homicide,” he said.
He specified that he provided all the support to the Public Ministry, which carried out “all the investigations with the most advanced of forensic science and criminalism. And the results have been overwhelming. Justice has been done, the name of a noble young Venezuelan creator has been vindicated, and I would say his name is what he does is grow up now.”
In that regard, he said that he spoke with his relatives “the day that the Attorney General, Tarek William Saab, gave the results already, with the videos of the confession of the murderer and the murderer, of the two murderers, and I spoke with his family, and his family felt a relief in my soul.”
“His father Cheo, his sisters, his nieces, I gave them a hug on the phone and I said, well, he's a strong spirit, wherever Canserbero is he is a very strong spirit, now his name will grow in the youth of Venezuela, Latin America, the Caribbean, and much more. So justice has been done, something that speaks very highly of the Venezuelan Public Ministry,” he stressed.
