The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that there is currently a cultural battle when referring to the effect of social networks, which “little appreciate the authentic expressions of the Peoples”.

“They want it's a unique thought, to erase our memory so that we only have the emotions that permeate that medium,” he said in the 58th broadcast of his show Con Maduro+.

In this scenario, he stressed that the exercise of Venezuelan culture and identity is the greatest vaccine against the viruses of the decadent Western culture of anti-values, who seek to normalize and impose the values of war, of which he abuses his power, greed, ego, the destruction of the family as a fundamental nucleus.

“It's giving all the power to our culture, that's why the Great Mission Viva Venezuela, My Beloved Homeland, was born,” he said.

He also pointed out that “but we are also in a tremendous struggle for the right to exist in a world that wants to impose itself on the basis of fascism, neofascism and similar expressions, neocapitalism, they want to impose global, global domination”.

“The world's policeman, one command, one thought. They dominate, we obey, they rule, we slaves. That is the model of society that they want to impose with the rise of the extreme right,” he rejected.

On the other hand, the head of state said that the fourth Festival of the Great Mission Viva Venezuela, My Beloved Homeland, was a “beautiful, colorful day that expressed the strength of national culture”.

“All Peoples should be proud of their culture, their way of expressing themselves, their customs,” he said.

In his speech, the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, confirmed that the Viva Venezuela World Festival will take place in the states of Amazonas, Bolivar and Delta Amacuro, from October 17 to 20; in the states of Apure, Guárico, Barinas and Portuguesa, between November 07 and 10 and in the states of Mérida, Táchira and Trujillo, from November 21 to 24.
