The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, thanked this Saturday for a new shipment of humanitarian aid from the People's Republic of China, with 87 machines and 1,800 prefabricated houses for the victims of the earthquakes of last June 24.

“We are very excited about this humanitarian aid, which I know the Venezuelan people appreciate and appreciate it because it allows us to have this cooperation in this process of transformation and profound recovery,” said the president from the Miraflores Palace.

He stressed that the houses that are arriving “will provide shelter and support to those who lost their homes, their homes in the earthquake shock, and they feel the hand of solidarity of China with our people, they feel the hand of China also in this process of reconstruction.”

Rodríguez indicated that 5400 emergency bunk beds and 1800 fans are also arriving for the camps. “I hope that by the end of the year there will be no one left in the camps and the Chinese government is helping with this profoundly human objective for the Venezuelan family,” he stressed.

“On behalf of Venezuela, thank you very much for this commitment and I know that we will continue to strengthen our bonds of friendship and cooperation, as we have had for the past few years. I know that the future between our countries is a future of fruitful relations,” said the head of state.
