The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted that the country's tax collection in the first eight months of 2024 increased by 147%, compared to 2023, in the same period of time.

He explained that “calculating what was collected in the first eight months of 2023 and what is being collected in the first eight months of 2024, it already exceeds 147% growth in tax collection.”

He specified that the collection during the month of August was “1,398 million, which is 209% more, which is equivalent to 451 million 365 thousand 300 dollars”.

The information was provided from the Miraflores Palace, in his show Con Maduro+, in his 55th broadcast, where he said that these figures are good news “that's why they want to make life impossible for Venezuela, so that we don't continue to make progress in building what is ours: our economy and political model.”

“I tell them, whatever they do, they are defeated, Venezuela is not stopped by anything or anyone,” he emphasized.
