“There are those who do want to destroy it and turn the Armed Forces back into an internal occupying force and to assert the interests of surnames, of oligarchies to assert the interests of the empire, which wants to put its claws on the country,” warned the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

In this regard, the head of state urged the people to be alert. “Alert the conscience, because one of the greatest achievements of this historic era is the Civic-Military Union, today increasingly powerful and fundamental,” he said.

“It is the union of the FANB with the ordinary People, with the Popular Power and that union must be consolidated and move towards future horizons,” he stressed.

This was stated in Petare, in the Sucre municipality, in Miranda state, where he led a working day dedicated to the advances of the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (BRICOMILES).

He also expressed his gratitude to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), for all its efforts for the welfare of the country, especially those carried out through BRICOMILES.
