Head of State sends Venezuelan proposal for a binational integration zone to President Petro

President Nicolás Maduro reiterated his commitment to joint development between Colombia and Venezuela and showed the documents that will be sent to his Colombian counterpart, Gustavo Petro, which present collaborative investment projects that promote productive growth and binational investments.
“For the peace and sovereignty of Colombia and Venezuela, we expect to see results in a short time,” emphasized the Head of State during his program With Maduro Mas Issue 73, in which he explained that the Colombian proposal seeks to include all states bordering Venezuela.
The Venezuelan president has proposed the creation of a shared economic space for Venezuela and some regions of Colombia, such as the north of Santander or Catatumbo, in order to bring “peace to the peoples of the border”, as well as “economic, social and integral development to this entire area”.
