From the social network X, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, sent a fraternal greeting “full of support and hope” to the First Lady of the Syrian Arab Republic, Asma Al Assad, after being diagnosed with leukemia.
“On behalf of the Venezuelan people, I send an embrace full of support and hope to the First Lady of the Syrian Arab Republic, Asma Al Assad, in the face of her recent health diagnosis. We are sure that she will be victorious again. Cilia and I salute President Bashar Al Assad, and all his people. United in solidarity!” , he wrote.
The wife of the current president of Syria, Bashar Al Assad, will temporarily set aside her official schedule to receive treatment for the disease.
