The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, celebrated this Monday the 162nd anniversary of the birth of the Saint of the Poor, Dr. José Gregorio Hernández, highlighting his humility and vocation of service.

“San José Gregorio Hernández is a symbol of faith, hope and love for our people,” said the president through her Telegram channel, where she honored the one who became the “first Venezuelan saint, who dedicated his life to healing, serving and providing hope to those who needed it most.”

In her message, the Head of State emphasized that “her humility, vocation of service and love for her neighbor remain alive in our hearts. May their example and their blessings always accompany Venezuela!” , he specified.
