Head of State proposed holding two Venezuela-Türkiye fairs starting in 2025

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, proposed to the Government of Türkiye that starting in 2025, it hold two international fairs, “economic, commercial and investment of a comprehensive nature”.
“One in the first quarter of the year, which can be done in Türkiye, and one in the second quarter of the year that can be done in Venezuela,” he said at the Convention Center, in Simon Bolivar Park, in La Carlota, where the II Expoferia Türkiye Caracas 2024 inaugurated, with the purpose of promoting cooperation between the two nations.
In this regard, he told the businessmen and women of Türkiye and Venezuela that “our relations demand something better and higher.”
“In this way, we are moving forward in a higher plan, which is not only buying and selling, that the commercial relationship is important, but it involves productive investments in the development of agro-industry, industry, tourism and all branches of integral economic work,” he explained.
