The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced the 12 vertices of the Great AgroVenezuela Mission, which he said is an ambitious simplification plan that seeks to optimize productive strategies in Venezuela.

“We are doing simplification work, because we have built twelve absolutely relevant vertices,” he said.

On a day held this Thursday, March 13, the Head of State called on work groups, rural businessmen, peasants, as well as “fellow fishermen, sinners, aquaculturists, to study carefully the documents and instruments that are being implemented, and explained that “this allows us to organize thought and, by ordering thought, to organize action plans and be more efficient”.

“Reengineering is being carried out at these vertices (...) It has yielded results, but I think we can simplify it into five vertices, maybe seven. The more simplified a plan is, the easier it is to apply it, follow it up and comply with it,” he said.

The 12 vertices are: first vertex: Lands and productive spaces. Second vertex: Good agricultural practices, mechanization and implements. Third vertex: Biological and synthetic inputs. Fourth Vertex: Seeds and Sovereign, Fundamental Genetics. Fifth vertex: Organization of the base of People's Power. Sixth vertex: The productive agricultural portfolio, democratize it and reach the one who produces it, the one who needs it. Seventh vertex: Production, processing, distribution and supply. Eighth vertex: The development of research, development and innovation. Ninth vertex: Defense and security and integral peace. Tenth vertex: The healthy nature of food. Eleventh vertex: The technological communicational educational platform. Twelfth: Comprehensive care for rural, fishing and city communities.
