The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, ratified her commitment to the recovery of the National Electric System (SEN), noting that the Government is moving from agreements to concrete actions with the modernization of the Macagua Hydroelectric Power Plant and the completion of the Tocoma Hydroelectric Power Plant.
“Our commitment is to recover electrical infrastructure, strengthen generation capacity and move towards a more stable service for all Venezuelans,” he said through his Telegram account.

These tasks are part of the actions carried out by the Executive to optimize the distribution network and guarantee the supply of energy to the population.
In the same way, he said, the National Government is working on the final phase of the Tocoma Hydroelectric Power Plant, a project that will add another 432 megawatts to the system. With these two interventions, the national electrical infrastructure will add a total of 909 megawatts of new operating capacity for the territory.
