The president of
the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, ordered this Thursday the
ministers of the People's Power for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Carlos Loyo, and for
Petroleum, Pedro Tellechea, to create a special plan to supply
fuel to the country's fishing community.
“On the issue of
fuel, which is a tricky issue, we have taken some steps, but you
say that the steps we have taken are not enough, so I have given the
order to Minister Loyo and Minister Tellechea to agree with you,” said
the head of state from Sucre, at the event for National Fisherman's Day.
He stressed that, “at
the end of time, in the next 72 hours,” they must present him with “a
special fuel care plan for the entire fishing community.”
