Head of State: Opponents had a plan to generate paramilitary violence in neighborhoods of Caracas

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured that sectors of the opposition allied to North American imperialism had a plan to sow paramilitary violence in humble communities in Caracas and other important cities in the country, however, the dismantling of that plan and the capture of the ringleaders made it possible to verify that defeating crime in our neighborhoods was possible.

“What happened in Cota 905 where there was an ugly project by those people who sought to unleash an insurrection of assassins, paramilitaries and crooks brought from abroad, including from Colombia, to generate a kind of guarimba multiplied by armed criminals, that was the project that some people believed we could not defeat but we did it and we freed those territories from crime,” said the National President.

He stressed that on social networks, bots were responsible for highlighting everything that negative leaders did to turn criminals into negative heroes to present them as models for new generations.
