Head of State: Only a revolutionary and socialist Government is capable of giving decent homes to the People

The head of state, Nicolás Maduro, celebrated the 13th anniversary of the Great Venezuela Housing Mission (GMVV), through a post made on his account on the social network X.

“Only a revolutionary and socialist government is capable of providing decent homes to the people. We celebrate 13 years of the Great Venezuela Housing Mission (GMVV), a beautiful work of the Bolivarian Revolution for the good life of the family. We are getting closer to the 5 million milestone. Social justice, commitment, loyalty, effort and true love for the Fatherland,” wrote the President.

“At the beginning of 2011, President Hugo Chávez, as head of state, made the decision to carry out the most ambitious housing plan in the history of the country. He personally made a commitment to build 2 million homes between 2011 and 2019 so that all Venezuelan families, regardless of their social status, can live in decent housing. Exactly like this, on April 30, 2011, the Great Venezuela Housing Mission emerged, a different way of understanding and responding to the historic Venezuelan housing crisis,” reports the Ministry of Popular Power for Habitat and Housing.
