Head of State on the Tiburones de la Guaira championship: He deserved it!

This Monday 29th, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated the Tiburones de La Guaira baseball team , which managed to win its Eighth Championship in Lara 3-0.
“La Guaira deserved it,” he said.
He stressed that he congratulated all Venezuelan baseball, “and the Cardinals of Lara, they also struggled in the campaign and the Sharks won on their own merit.”
This was stated by the head of state, during the broadcast of his program “With Maduro+”, in its 32nd edition.
The head of state congratulated his wife, the first fighter Cilia Flores de Maduro.
In this regard, Flores, who is also a member of the National Assembly (AN), said she was happy, since they are champions “after 37 years, I am a super fan of the Tiburones de La Guaira (...) I knew the names of all the players in the team, the positions they played”.
“Sometimes I would leave the stadium crying when I lost (the team) La Guaira,” he recalled.
