Head of State on Guiana Essequiba: Neither Marco Rubio nor María Machado are going to take that territory away from Venezuela

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, called for alert to the surrendering pretensions of Venezuelan opposition extremism over the territory of Guiana Essequiba.

“ The people of Venezuela are alert to the vendepatria, with those who surrender to Venezuelan territory, we are going to defend what is ours, no one doubts that,” he emphasized during his program Con Maduro Live de Repente, where he denounced the actions carried out in recent days by the Secretary of State of the United States, Marco Rubio, in conjunction with the extremist María Corina Machado.

“Marco Rubio is the kingpin of María Machado's mafia and both are in the service of Exxon Mobil,” he accused, while addressing the U.S. official, he said: “Make no mistake about Venezuela.”

“Neither your Marco Rubio nor María Machado are going to take that territory away from Venezuela,” he said and recalled that " Guiana Essequiba is Venezuelan territory inherited from Simon Bolivar and we are going to defend it.”
