Head of State on funded scientific projects: These are projects designed, planned and studied

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, approved this Thursday the funding of 210 projects presented by women scientists, focused on planning for the country's future.

During his participation in the Meeting of Women in Science and Technology, the President emphasized that the works are in line with “the real needs of society in terms of economy, health, education (...) relevant and useful to social reality, to economic reality and to the needs of transformation and change in Venezuela.”

He emphasized that the 210 projects “are works designed, planned, studied by women scientists who fill Venezuela, today's Venezuela, with pride. We are proud of you women professors, researchers, women scientists of knowledge,” she said.
