Head of State: Iran has established itself as an emerging power in the multipolar and pluricentric world

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran has established itself as one of the emerging powers in the multipolar and pluricentric world that is emerging.

“Today, Iran has a strong economy, backed by its own technology. It is one of the most respected powers in Asia, the Middle East and the world,” he emphasized at the Miraflores Palace, where within the framework of the 10th Iran-Venezuela High Level Joint Commission, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed on the Extension of Visa Requirements for Ordinary Passport Holders, as well as the Tourism Cooperation Program.

He stressed that “we are weaving this relationship with our own hands and at our own pace”.

The head of state said that the sentence of Commander Hugo Chávez is being carried out, who “in the decade of the 90s, told us that the 21st century will be our century, and then in the year 97, he spoke to us about the construction of a multipolar and pluricentric world, that the hegemonic world had to end”.

“Today we can say that that prophetic word has been fulfilled. This 21st Century is our Century and no one or nothing will ever take them away. Together, Iran and Venezuela will continue to win,” he said.
