Head of State instructs to set up working groups on the influence of social networks on youth

With the firm objective of evaluating the influence of social networks on youth, Nicolás Maduro, president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, instructed the confirmation of an inclusive working group that will bring together specialists and social organizations.

“The dialogue mechanism will result in a seminar, which will take place over several days, to outline concrete actions to protect young people from inappropriate content (cyberbullying or violence) on social networks,” said Maduro+.

The Head of State added that “for years I have been warning about the need to protect children on the internet.”

“Maduro doesn't say it, the senators of the United States Congress say it, it's the fathers, the mothers of children who have been lethally affected in American society,” he stressed.
