Head of State: In Venezuela we are reinventing the model of democracy to give more power to the People

In his Con Maduro+ program, he stated that with the arrival of the Revolution, the doors were opened to the people to make them master of their processes. “Democracy is a necessity, it is a human right and a new democracy is about to be built, we in Venezuela are reinventing the model of democracy and in the constitution Commander Chávez for the first time in 200 years of the Republic proposed and constitutionalized the concept of participatory and leading democracy,” he said.

He added that “someone says that this process is easy, it's fast, neither easy nor fast, it's a process of formation of conscience, of a new democracy. Let people know that democracy isn't just about going to vote every three years, four years, five years. That democracy is not only a form here, a form there. Let people know that democracy is the power of the people, for the people, with the people.”
