The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Battles of Junín and Ayacucho, which meant the liberation of our continent from imperialism for more than 300 years, assured that during the conquest and colonization, deception and lies, as now, cognitive warfare have been used to dominate Peoples.

“We were dominated by deception and also by force, when studying the liberation process of Peru, the epicenter of the most powerful of the Inca empire, one can clearly see the colonialist methods that were used yesterday and that do not cease in their superiority complex,” said the Head of State, who commented on the intrigues used by the invading military Francisco Pizarro in Peru to take over the Inca empire.

He assured that Spain imposed a colonialist system of domination and extermination of cultures and peoples that were more than 12 thousand years old in these lands.

Imperial strategy has always had the same component: cognitive war, lies, deception, division to intimidate them, a lesson for the times we are living in, of redemption, of liberation, and I thank God and the immortal spirits of liberators and liberators to be able to celebrate 200 years of Ayacucho with the country respected by the world, vindicated and vindicated for freedom,” said the Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces.
