President Nicolás Maduro commemorated 210 years since the death of the hero of the Admirable Campaign, Antonio Ricaurte, during the second Battle of San Mateo.

“We honor the memory of the hero of the Admirable Campaign, Antonio Ricaurte, who, 210 years ago, offered his life in San Mateo for the cause of independence, an act of dignity, courage and supreme loyalty,” he said in a message posted on his account on the social network X.
