Head of State: For a stable, democratic and peaceful country, equality is essential

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted this Wednesday the importance of equality to guarantee the well-being of all, which is only possible through the construction of a new State.

“For a stable, democratic and peaceful country, equality is indispensable, building equality on the basis of social welfare and social rights, and that can only be guaranteed by a strong State, a new State.”

During a working day of the National Council for Productive Economy, chapter: Venezuelan Council for Quality, he pointed out that “one of the great tasks we have in Venezuelan society is to build a new modern, honest, broadly technological and profoundly democratic State.”

He stressed that this new State must serve the People and have the power to “set up society in its multiple dimensions in a balanced way”, in addition to building “a country in peace, stable, integrated on the basis of a strong productive economy, on the basis of a society of equals, of social welfare, of satisfied social rights and above all on the basis of a higher awareness of the destiny of our country, of the history of our country and that can only be achieved with values”.
