Head of State: First Popular Consultation on communal projects will be held on January 26, 2025

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, in telephone contact with Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), announced that the election of the First Popular Consultation of the communities will take place on January 26, 2025.

“Today we are in the best moments, more popular power; today the Revolution is more consolidated because there is a people, conscience, love. True democracy is that of every day, and on January 26 we are going to that election, because we committed to holding four consultations for the projects chosen by the People,” he said.

He indicated that four fixed consultations should be held each year, and this must be added to two more topics, the youth project and the project of the cultivators. “Based on the Great Venezuela Youth Mission, work groups have been built, where there has been an explosion and participation of youth in all processes for self-government and democratic participation. I am committed to one project for each circuit only for young people; the participation of young people has been wonderful,” he added.

He stressed that “next year we are going to vote, participate, choose. There are still many things to do, but everything that remains to be done, we will do. Democracy, peace, the Revolution of the 21st century are becoming irreversible from the heart, will and strength of a People”.
