This Tuesday, November 5, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, raised two factors that he considers to be the causes that cause the resurgence of the most aggressive expressions of the ideologies of the extreme right, such as fascism, neofascism, Zionism and colonialism, genocide against Peoples.

He specified that “there is an open debate about the resurgence of the most aggressive expressions, of violence and of the ideologies of the extreme right. Why the contempt for the Peoples and Migrants of the South?”

In this regard, at the closing of the World Anti-Fascist Parliamentary Forum, in which for two days, more than 300 legislators from 70 countries, he stressed that “this meeting was very timely to say with a united voice: No to fascism, no to Zionism, enough to neofascism!”

“What do they want 100 years later? I think there are two factors that cause this regrowth,” he said.

Referring to the two factors, he pointed out that the first factor “is the ethical and moral exhaustion of Western imperialist models of domination. They have no moral, spiritual encouragement. Today, humanity is not inspired by the capitalist and decadent model of the United States and Europe.”

“Who among the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, Asia and beyond looks at these decadent models, which have disfigured all concepts of family, coexistence, morally, ethically and spiritually,” he said.

He estimated that the West “is lost and from the West itself there has not emerged an alternative of human change to call it, in any way, progressive”.

As for the second factor, he mentioned that it is the loss of world hegemony in the face of the emergence of a new power equation, a new geopolitics, of a multipolar and multicentric world, symbolically represented with great economic strength in the BRICS.

“The elites of the West react against this block of force and against the most powerful countries in that block. For the first time in 100 years, a new block of multipolar and multicentric power emerges, which represents a different alternative in humanity and which sees on the horizon a definitive change in human civilization, in power relations,” he stressed.
