Head of State extended the Congress of the Historical Bloc for October 31 to November 02

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, said that there is currently a debate and a broad dialogue on the proposals that will be presented at the National Congress of the Historical Bloc of the 5 Generations, to be held in Caracas.
In that regard, he reported that he decided to extend the debate phase, “I give them one more month, extend and then on Thursday, October 31, Friday, November 01 and Saturday, November 02, we would be setting up the deliberation of the National Congress of the All People, with the thousands of delegates and spokespersons from all over the country.”
He explained that the objective is to convene those sectors that have not yet participated, “to use these next two weeks, 15 more days, to complete the quality consultation process, and the processing and preparation of documents (...) not to show up at the Congress to learn about the documents”.
He specified that with the extension he expects three documents, “the concrete agenda of action of the 7T; a document with a long-term vision, 30 years, and the document that talks about the construction of the new State that surpasses the old bourgeois and bureaucratic State”.
The head of state reviewed all the work that is being done with the People's Power, based on the national debate, broad dialogue, with a view to Congress.
“Listening to all opinions and consulting all sectors. Listening to those who never had a voice, but who were made visible by the Bolivarian Revolution,” he emphasized in the Más Poder Popular segment of the 59th edition of his program “With Maduro+”, held at the National Art Gallery of Caracas.
For his part, Ricardo Menéndez, member of the Sponsoring Team of the Five Generations Congress, announced that more than 42,000 popular assemblies and more than 48,000 basic proposals for the country's development have been held within the framework of the Congress of the Historical Bloc.
In addition, the president of the Caracas Metro Union, Edison Alvarado, reported that more than two thousand workers in the railway system have participated in the popular consultation of the Historical Bloc to build the new model of socialist and productive management of the working class that strengthens the country's development in every way.
