“I exempt payments and hand over property documents to each of the families of Urbanismo Jorge Rodríguez Padre, located in the Antímano parish. They deserve it, women!” , announced the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, for the women who carried out the works through the method of self-construction.

The Head of State indicated that the exemption from payments recognizes the work carried out by women who make up 85% of the urban inhabitants of the Gran Misión Vivienda Venezuela (GMVV).

For her part, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, said she was honored by the name given to urban planning.

“An experience of self-construction where the hands of our women were responsible for making the apartments. With self-construction, almost 70% of construction materials are optimized, which is why it is useful to build new homes, new common spaces. This measure makes the resources, the materials we have, more yield. That's the key,” he said.
