Head of State: Economic recovery is transformed into social investment despite sanctions

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, during the reinauguration of the Eudoro González Type 1 Hospital in Carayaca, La Guaira state, assured that the United States has declared economic war on the world.

“We are facing the economic war that the United States is declaring against the world and trying to harm Venezuela at the request of María Machado and ordered by her patron Marco Rubio, but in the first quarter growth turned into higher revenues that became works for the people,” he said.

The Head of State regretted the new financial aggression against the world by the United States Government, which imposed tariffs of 15% this Wednesday, April 2, for Venezuelan products that are marketed in the North American country.

“What we do is work and all the economic recovery we have achieved, in these years, with our own effort, with our own lungs, with our own mind, with our own plans, all this recovery is transformed into investment,” he stressed.
