Head of State: Economic disturbances due to the follies of fascism and imperialism we will work on them and we will overcome them

After expressing his rejection of the threats of the United States government regarding tariffs that buy Venezuelan oil, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that Venezuela is prepared to work, attack and overcome the economic disturbances that are intended to be imposed with these illegal measures.

“The disturbances that may come from the madness of fascism and imperialism, we are working on them, we are anticipating them, we are attacking them and we are overcoming them and rest assured that all Venezuelans will continue to see our economy grow green,” he said.

During the closing ceremony of Expo Metal and activation of the Mining Engine, the head of state specified that these attacks promoted by opposition extremism are part of the actions that have already failed.

He recalled that, despite illegal US sanctions, the country maintains the highest levels of growth in Latin America, accumulating 15 consecutive quarters.

“15 quarters of growth with our own lungs, with our own effort, some say that it is an economic miracle and yes it is a miracle because God protects us, but it is also because there is a plan that we are implementing and as a result of this plan this year, we are already growing this first quarter, I imagine that at the end of the quarter the Central Bank of Venezuela will report the figures,” he stressed.
