Head of State during meeting with ICC prosecutor: Venezuela is at peace!

In a meeting held with the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Karim Khan, the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that “Venezuela is at peace”.
President Maduro pointed out that “democratic Venezuela that seeks truth and that seeks justice for now and forever, is at peace.”
In the same vein of ideas, he added that “it is necessary for the emergence of a new civilization, truly human, where there are no powerful countries that intend to oppress the countries of the global South (...) This 21st century Venezuela joins the struggle of a world for the great changes of humanity, for peace and justice in the world, where there are no colonial or neocolonial empires.”
