Head of State described kidnapping of Venezuelan migrants in El Salvador as a global embarrassment

The President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro, at the 25th Meeting of the Political Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (Albs-TCP), described the kidnapping of Venezuelan migrants in El Salvador under the auspices of the United States as a global embarrassment.

I also specify that during his conversation with senior authorities of the United Nations Organization, he requested the appropriate steps to bring the government of El Salvador to justice for this fact.

He added that he also demanded that the list of kidnapped Venezuelan migrants be handed over, while assuring that the kidnapped did not commit any crime or were prosecuted and that they are workers.
