Head of State: Cuba will always have Venezuela by its side

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said on Monday that “Cuba will always have Venezuela standing by its side.”

During his Con Maduro+ program, he explained that, after the impact of Hurricane Rafael, the island is an example of recovery and especially of its president Miguel Díaz-Canel who is on the streets with his people.

“The revolutionary Government of Cuba is on the street and its president assures that they are standing, because for them all our solidarity,” he said. The Head of State added that yesterday, Sunday, in Cuba there were two earthquakes, earthquakes, quite strong.

“It coincided that yesterday it arrived at the ports of Santiago de Cuba with more than 300 tons of solidarity aid to the people of Cuba (...) we are coordinating other support because Cuba and Venezuela are one, the people of Fidel and the people of Chávez, of Bolívar and Marti,” he said.
