The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated Abdelfatah al-Sisi on his third re-election as president of the Arab Republic of Egypt, while reaffirming his respect and cooperation and his wishes for this nation to follow the path of development and peace in the new year.
“I extend my embrace and congratulations to Abdelfatah al-Sisi, who has been re-elected for the third time, a popular victory that marks him as president of the Arab Republic of Egypt. He has our support, respect and cooperation. From Venezuela, we want this new 2024 term to continue the path of growth, prosperity and peace for your people. The election results gave Al Sisi 90% of the votes, for what will be the third term at the head of that North African nation.
