Head of State commemorated scientist Humberto Fernández Morán 26 years after his planting

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, through a post on his Telegram account, paid tribute to the Venezuelan scientist, Humberto Fernández Morán, 26 years after his planting.

The head of state described Fernández Morán as one of the “greatest scientists we have ever had in history (...) A patriot who embraced the doctrine and faith of Bolívar to take it along all the paths he had to live.”

He also indicated that “today we invoke and vindicate his work, an example of neatness, honesty, intelligence, methodical capacity, an icon for our seedbed to fall in love with science, knowledge and creation.”

The legacy that Humberto Fernández-Morán left to humanity is lost sight of! We are following their path, moving towards the independence of knowledge, science and technology applied to the development of life, he emphasized.
