This Friday, November 6, the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, assured that expressions of hate towards motorized vehicles continue, by vehicle drivers, so he issued instructions for the Democratic Coexistence Program to implement immediate actions.
In that regard, he stressed that this confrontation persists, “it still exists, and the Democratic Coexistence Program has to work there, so that there is no social contempt between the owner of the car and the motorized one”.
This was stated at the Salón Sol del Perú in the Miraflores Palace, where he received the motorized sector of Venezuela, who “expressed that this procedure “also causes and causes traffic accidents and the life of each one of us is equally valuable and the Coexistence Program must help in this process of recognition and respect for each and every one of us”.
“They have my hand, because I know that they are good Venezuelans and Venezuelans, I know what it's like to be on a motorcycle, after an accident, I was riding a crutch on a motorcycle and Jorge Rodríguez, who was mayor, had an accident a month later and we were all on crutches on motorcycles,” he said.
To conclude the meeting, the national president reaffirmed that there are already clear guidelines: undertakings and support for youth in the motorized sector; the creation of the Comprehensive Training School for Motorized Drivers, with international road safety standards to fully professionalize and train drivers and the unique registration at the national level to formalize the sector.
