Head of State: Chávez is a living past, present and future! (+Command Transmission)

From the Mountain Barracks 4F, during the ceremony of transmission of the General Staff Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN), this Tuesday the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, praised the rebirth of the Homeland and of the Liberator Simon Bolivar with Commander Hugo Chávez at the helm.

“This barracks witnessed the rebirth of Bolívar, on February 4, 1992, where Bolivianism was reborn and resurrected, and at the head of that act of resurrection was the greatest leader the Venezuelan military has ever had, after Bolívar and Zamora, our Supreme Commander Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías,” said the Head of State.

He pointed out that the Commander, “as a military leader, became the leader of the People and then became the great democratizer of the life of our country, the one who refounded the Homeland, rescued independence, the one who showed us the way. Chávez is a living past, present and future,” he said.

The Dignitary stressed that it is imperative to “always remember the glorious flags of our Homeland, to keep them in mind at every step”.
