Head of State celebrates National Crime Investigator Day: Of Vital Importance for Peace

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, celebrated the National Day of the Crime Investigator this Tuesday, highlighting his work and dedication in favor of justice.

“I congratulate crime investigators who serve justice with dedication, professionalism and responsibility, a work of vital importance for the Peace and Security of the People. A Hug!” , said the head of state through his account on the social network X.

President Maduro declared February 20 as the National Day of the Crime Investigator, in response to the proposal made by the director general of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), Douglas Rico, on February 23, 2023.

“I agree that we establish, to honor those who gave their lives and gave their efforts honestly for security and justice in Venezuela, we decree February 20 so that starting today the Criminal Investigator's Day of the country's police officers, a day of investigation, a day of science,” said the Venezuelan Dignitary at the time.
