The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, invited all dental clinics and private dentists this Tuesday to join the Smile Mission, recently relaunched by the National Executive to guarantee the dental health of the People, especially of the grandparents and grandmothers of the Homeland.

During a working day dedicated to the progress of the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (BRICOMILES), from Yaracuy, the head of state instructed governors and mayors to convene a public-private partnership to work together on this important social program.

“We are going to make a public and private effort and I call, for the first time, publicly to all the dental clinics in the country, all the dentists who have private activities who join the smile mission, to make their social contribution and I give them their benefits, with social responsibility so that we can put the burden here all together,” said the Dignitary.

He stressed that the Bolivarian Government is making progress on its own, “but how far we could go that all those who practice dentistry privately do what I am sure they want to do, to contribute out of social responsibility and I give them their benefit,” he reiterated.

He recalled that he gave the instruction to “relaunch Mission Smile with force (...) we are going to go by step and we are going to achieve it to serve everyone and everyone, but especially to care for our grandparents and grandmothers, those who need their prosthesis to have health, dental peace of mind, to be able to consume their food”.
