Head of State: Behind the onslaught against the Bolivarian Revolution, one objective is to destroy CELAC

This Monday, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, warned that behind the attacks by imperialism and its allies against the country, the objective is to end the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).

“Behind the attack and this onslaught against the Bolivarian Revolution there are objectives, one objective is to destroy, take note, CELAC and they have ahead of them a group of cowardly right-wing countries (...) a decadent Lima group” to fulfill it, he warned during his participation in the XI Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP).

He recalled that in 2019 governments “from Canada down (...) came to invade Venezuela from Colombia (...) Bolsonaro prepared the invasion from the south and the gringos from Puerto Rico prepared some ships that they sent on February 23,” but “we will continue to win with peace.”
